Begin your scenic Himalayan drive through Kufri and Narkanda, witnessing lush pine forests and apple orchards. Reach Kalpa for mesmerizing views of the Kinnaur Kailash range.

Kalpa to Nako – Entering the Trans-Himalayas

Travel through rugged mountain terrain to reach Nako, a peaceful high-altitude village. Explore Nako Lake and enjoy the dramatic shift in landscape as you enter Spiti’s desert mountains.

Nako to Tabo & Dhankar – Monasteries of Ancient Spiti

Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery (over 1,000 years old). Continue to Dhankar, perched dramatically on a cliffside. Optional small hike to Dhankar Lake. Arrive in Kaza by evening.

Kaza Local – High Villages & Monasteries
